DESCRIPTION:The STEM Institute is a three-day gathering of representatives from DYCD funded Community Based Organizations to build a greater understanding of the DYCD STEM Framework and Evaluation metrics while creating connections to high-quality STEM in afterschool. This gathering will target Site Directors and Multi-Site Supervisors who oversee staff delivering STEM programming to afterschool students. Attendees will have opportunities to hear from DYCD Program Managers who evaluate STEM portfolios\, provide feedback\, raise awareness of barriers to STEM programming and participate in professional development that will prepare them for high-quality STEM implementation.
