DESCRIPTION:The Pathways Fellowship Winter Institute is a 4-day series where Fellows continue to prepare for the next step in their career journey. \nThis session will be led by Chris Hudson from Change Impact. \nThe discussion begins with unpacking terminology and the power of language in creating a more inclusive space. We will explore various experiences\, struggles\, and challenges that LGBTQ+ identified youth face. The session concludes with some basic and attainable steps that each staff member can make to make your facility\, activity\, or program more inclusive to anyone along the LGBTQ+ spectrum. Participants will learn how to present themselves as safe adult allies for youth. \nThis will be an in-person event held at ExpandED Schools Office: \n11 West 42nd Street\, 3rd Floor\,\nNew York\, NY 10036
