DESCRIPTION:ExpandED Schools has invested in diversifying the teacher pipeline through its Pathways Fellowship and other workforce development initiatives. While specifics of the network are still evolving\, we believe that within this community there is an interest in building the teacher pipeline. This group will allow stakeholders to engage in dynamic and evolving conversations on this topic that will lead to network connections and problem-solving.   \nThe overall objectives of this group are:  \n\nto create a network of organizations that are involved in the teacher pipeline\nto connect these organizations so that students receive resources and support throughout their career journey\nto address barriers to entry and retention for BIPOC educators\n\nThis is a virtual event held on Zoom. The practice of care can extend to the communities you serve. This session will define what is meant by self- and community- care and give strategies to use to balance life and work responsibilities.
