SUMMARY:CORE PD: Youth Development 101: Ages and Stages
DESCRIPTION:In order to effectively support and work with young people in after-school spaces\, we must understand their needs. During this session\, participants will explore factors that affect how youth develop\, discuss physical\, cognitive\, emotional\, and psychological changes and needs at different stages\, and identify practices for supporting positive youth development in their programs. \nSchool-Age Childcare training regulations satisfied: 3 \nPlease note that active participation during the session is required in order to receive letters of completion. Letters of completion can only be distributed to participants whose identities are verified. \nLocation:  \nRemote. A link to the training will be sent by email. This is a camera-on workshop.
