Elements of STEM

Date:

Tuesday, December 4, 2018 - 9:30am to 12:30pm

In this workshop, participants will explore lessons aligned to Next Generation Science Standards. Within the Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS), there are three distinct and equally important dimensions to learning science. These dimensions are combined to form each standard—or performance expectation—and each dimension works with the other two to help students build a cohesive understanding of science over time. Attendees will also examine their existing STEM portfolio and how to align them more with the Next Generation Science Standards.
