Who says literacy has to happen sitting at a desk? Move It! Literacy Games demonstrates how movement and active play can transform literacy learning into an engaging, high-energy experience. Designed for out-of-school time programs, this workshop introduces interactive games that strengthen vocabulary, comprehension, sequencing, communication, and critical thinking while keeping students active and engaged.
Participants will explore easy-to-facilitate activities that encourage collaboration, teamwork, and joyful learning. Each game is adaptable for different grade levels and can be incorporated into afterschool, summer, and community-based programs to make literacy come alive through movement.
A light breakfast will be served for in person trainings.
