The NYC STEM Education Network invites organizations to an in-person technical assistance workshop designed to help teams prepare for the January 2027 city council discretionary funding window. Led by John Albert of Bolton St. Johns, who brings more than 15 years of experience shaping policy and funding decisions inside and outside of government, this session will simplify the New York City Council discretionary funding application process and highlight state funding strategies. Participants will leave with a clearer picture of how discretionary funding works, who they players in the space are and practical, replicable steps to prepare a strong application. Whether you are applying for the first time or looking to grow an existing funding stream, this workshop will help you strengthen your funding strategy for the year ahead and beyond.
If you prefer to join us virtually, we will host a virtual session on November 12th.
