DESCRIPTION

Building social emotional learning (SEL) competencies in students is directly linked to positive student outcomes. In this session, attendees will review the definition of social emotional learning and its associated competencies. Then, strategies for teaching SEL skills and integrating SEL into activities will be covered. This is an interactive session. Come ready to listen, learn, and share.

This course is a companion to “Understanding CASEL Social Emotional Learning Competencies” which covers social emotional competencies in detail.
