DESCRIPTION

Description: This training provides youth development professionals with an overview of age-specific developmental milestones across cognitive, social, and emotional domains. Participants will learn to recognize typical growth patterns, identify when additional support may be needed, and design age-appropriate activities that align with children’s developmental stages. By applying these practices, staff can better meet individual needs and enhance the learning and well-being of the young people they serve.

 

School-Age Childcare training regulations satisfied: 3                              Please note that active participation during the session is required in order to receive letters of completion. Letters of completion can only be distributed to participants whose identities are verified.

Location: This training will be held remotely. A participation link will be emailed to registered attendees. Please note that cameras are expected to remain on during the workshop
