Join us on March 11th in person at the ExpandED Schools Office,  218 W. 40th Street, 12th Floor. New York, NY 10018, from 9:00 am -12:00 pm for a dynamic work session focused on literacy beyond the page!

Live Projects are student-driven, real-world explorations inspired by reading and research. They allow students to connect literature to authentic experiences and outcomes.

This session will highlight:

  • Vocabulary – academic and project-based terms students need to present their work.
  • Building Background Knowledge – linking texts to real-world issues and community contexts.
  • Skill Building – designing and supporting projects that move from reading to research to action.\

 

Please note: Registration will close on Thursday, March 5th . All attendees must register.
