Great literacy experiences begin with connection. Icebreakers That Build Readers introduces educators to fun, low-prep games that do more than energize a group. They intentionally strengthen vocabulary, oral language, communication, and community building. Designed specifically for out-of-school time programs, these engaging activities help students build confidence, develop language skills, and create meaningful relationships while fostering a love of literacy from the very beginning.
Participants will experience and leave with ready-to-use games that can be adapted for a variety of age groups and literacy levels, making it easy to create welcoming environments where every student is excited to participate and learn.
