Building Strong Readers Through Oral Language
Reading begins long before children read their first word. Oral language provides the foundation for vocabulary, comprehension, and communication. In this interactive workshop, participants will explore how meaningful conversations, storytelling, read-alouds, dramatic play, and collaborative discussions help students develop the language skills necessary for successful reading.
Educators will experience engaging activities that build listening, speaking, vocabulary, and academic language while creating opportunities for every child to find their voice.
