Facilitators: Allison Philippin and Noel Morales

In this workshop, we will learn how pace contributes to a narrative. Pacing affects the mood of a story, helps develop ideas and themes, and allows the readers to connect to the characters and the events that surround them. We will also explore how dialogue and the length of a passage will affect the pacing of a story. 

Educators will evaluate texts and be able to make connections and understand what pacing refers to. CCSS.ELA-LITERACY.RL.6.5
