Understanding the effects and behaviors associated with trauma is a necessary skill for educators who want to create caring learning environments. In this session, attendees will be introduced to adverse childhood experiences (ACES) and explore the intersection of racism and trauma. This will be followed by a discussion about healing-centered practices and how to implement these techniques in your learning environment.
