In this introductory session, attendees will learn about each of the CASEL 6 social emotional learning competencies. Basic strategies will be included. This session is best for people who want to learn about the competencies and people new to youth development and education.

This course is a companion to “Building Social Emotional Competencies in Youth” which covers best practices and strategies in more detail.
