Lit C.R.E.W. aims to empower middle school students by transforming literacy into a journey of connection, exploration, and creativity. By offering diverse reading opportunities, fostering critical thinking, and encouraging project-based learning, the program nurtures confident readers and lifelong learners. Our mission is to partner with community-based organizations and schools to provide high-quality literacy experiences that enrich afterschool programming, support student growth, and build strong, equitable learning communities.

• Enhancing student comprehension and confidence through active, engaging literacy experiences.
• Aligning instruction with The Science of Reading to ensure impactful and research-based teaching practices.
• Cultivating collaborative partnerships between schools and CBOs to create sustainable, enriching literacy environments.
