Career Coach Consultant
For the past 25 years, ExpandED Schools has been dedicated to developing age-appropriate programs that empower young individuals to affirm their identities, cultivate relationship and decision-making skills, and explore various career pathways as they shape their futures. As part of our mission, ExpandED is committed to increasing access to the educator career pipeline and expediting the progress of aspiring educators into the classroom, particularly for those who encounter systemic barriers.
ExpandED seeks consultants to offer services in educator career development coaching. Consultant coaches will help our participants navigate barriers to education careers and plan their next steps toward pursuing a teaching career. Consultant coaches will be responsible for providing one-on-one coaching and guidance to tutors, afterschool professionals and education students who would like to become certified teachers. This will include providing support and advice on a variety of topics such as interviewing, resume writing, application essays, alternative and traditional certification requirements, and networking.
Coach consultants will be contracted with ExpandED Schools, Inc. through the Program Director, Educator Career Pathways. Consultants may be organizations or individuals. Consultants will be paid based on coaching hours reported in monthly invoices provided by the consultant.
